Back again!

So the last couple of weeks have been really busy with multiple IRL stuff and such but now I am back on track ^^


Nothing much has happened in WoW, the usual ICC grind on alts and AH farming. Also I started to lvl my priest again which is now lvl 69 so then I got one more char to gear up soon(yay!).


I will find something more interesting to write tomorrow ;D

Last week or so I have been totally eaten by alot of IRL stuff and I have also started to fiddle with PS(Photoshop) and trying to learn as much as possible.. It's a tad bit time consuming xD

Yeah as the title says I am trying to get some SS's and such up but I am abit busy leveling and checking out all the new stuff so I will try to get it done asap.

Been abit busy!

IRL has taken a lot of my time atm, got a friend from out of town visiting and so we got a lot of stuff to do this coming week, so the updates might be a bit slow.

Also there hasnt been anything newsworthy about Shamans from Cataclysm beta the last couple of days except the ehancement discussion which I dont mind all that much because it doesnt affect me atm anyway :P.

ICC 10 Meta Achievment Done! < 3

FInally :D

1 day left untill I get my Bloodbathed Frostwyrm finally =)

As the topic says tomorrow is the last 10 man raid I need with our group to get the damn mount finally. After several weeks total of AFK ppl and vacations and shit we finally got this going again.

Then we only got LK HC left and 10 man is officially done. Then I've reached most of my goals for Cataclysm so far. Except breaking the 50k gold mark but that is incoming.

Time is moving slow during this 24hour maintence =(. I totally forgot about it aswell and had a lot of things I wanted to get done in-game today but that cant be done..

Well at least in 3 hours or so we are past it and I dont have to worry about it again.

Battlegrounds, a good way of getting entertained.

As the topic says I've found out how much fun you can actually have by doing battlegrounds these days. The last week or so I've farmed up all the gear I could get without arena rating and this includes alot of time spent in battlegrounds(duh!).

Anyway, here is a little list of diff things or people I've encountered so far;


"The tunnel vision guy" - This is the person you most often notice in an EOTS or WSG(Simply because their tunnel vision gets even more transparent when there is a flag involved). This is the person in an EOTS who you see charging in towards the flag and then die, he/she then repeats this pattern a few times untill he actually gets a hold of the flag, by then your team has lost all the bases and there is nowhere to turn in the flag. But dont let that fool you, this person will still run around with the flag and protect it like it was his/her own child! This person totally ignores everything thats going on in the particular BG except what he/she has set her mind on, i.e if he/she is set on capping that Gold Mine he/she sure as hell is gonna die trying even if it means losing with 50 - 1600 resources..

"The chat maniac" - This is the person who through out the BG just sits around and mindlessly spams the BG chat with either bad jokes or stuff a 8 year old with ADHD would say. They completeley ignore that it's a BG and not a social network site. Also when someone remarks this they just reply with stuff like "Get laid" or "Get a life noob".

"The sour loser" - Very common person. We all know this one, the guy/girl who comes into the BG and starts spamming tactic macros and yelling like a mad man what people should do. 5 min later when said person realizes that calling people assholes doesnt make them follow orders you see something like "OMG FUCKING NOOBS I GIVE UP" in the chat followed by a "IM JUST GONNA STAND IN FLAGROOM SO WE LOSE FASTER" or something similiar.

"The PvP Heroes" - Also a pretty common type. The person who thinks you are losing a WSG game vs a full premade because 1 guy in your team doesnt have over 1200 resiliance. He then proceeds to call most people PvE heroes and brag about his arena skills. Even tho this person very often play easymode FOTM setups. Also very often doesnt really do much him/herself to actually try to win said BG.


This is just a few I could think of right now, do you know any other types I might have missed?

Up up and...Yawn..

So.. Got woken up early today so thought I'd pop in and update.

First of I just have to say I've had somewhat of a revelation lately. This is by far not something "new" or such and I've had loads of mates telling me this for a long time, but I always figured they we're blowing it out of proportions.. Anyway what I want to get down to is the whole situation with gold atm. Seeing how damn easy it is to get these days it seems to have lost value to people. What do I mean by this? Well let me make an example;

When you start leveling Enchanting you need something called Copper Rod(http://www.wowhead.com/item=6217), now this is sold by a vendor right next to the Enchanting trainer or from a Trade Supplies vendor. It is not a limited amount with a respawn timer or anything and it costs a mere 1s 24c. Where am I going with this? Well I have sold around 25 of these the last week on the Auction House..

Really, when did gold become so insignificant that you actually pay up to 30(!)gold a pop for these on the AH? I mean I can understand if you buy the ones that only Blacksmiths can make, you might not have time/want to find a BS to make it for you and hence you pay a little extra to get it right away. But to pay for a vendor item which is closer to you than the AH and ALOT cheaper is just mindblowing to me oO.

I mean dont get me wrong, I am earning money on these fools but I just cant get my head around it.

Anyone else got any example of stupid shit people actually buy?

So.. Lets see how this thing works!

So lets get this blog on the road shall we? Lets start with why I'm blogging in the first place.

Well it's summertime and WoW is(as many of you know)pretty dull at the moment. Spending 9+ months on farming ICC is not as fun as you'd think.. So right now I got some time over inbetween hanging out with my wonderful daughter and raiding and making a living, so I thought why not try this blog thing out? I have some blogs I read just about daily and I always find something interesting or funny and it makes a bad day a little bit better and a good day even better. So here I am thinking I will try just that =).

So what will I be blogging about? Well, for the most part I will keep it about WoW and what's going on, my thoughts and reflections on different things. And also my perspective on life as a raider and casual pvper. And if something else interesting happens ingame I'll be sure to let you know ;D.

But I will also post things about other games or stuff in general if I find it interesting enough to be mentioned. So grab a hold of your seatbelt because it's officially on!
